The technology business incubator (TBI) was promoted & established jointly by National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship development board (NSTEDB), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India and Krishna Institute of Engineering & Technology in Dec. 2007. Technology Business Incubator has very strong governing board comprising of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor & eminent expert of Entrepreneurship Dr. S.P. Mishra, Head & adviser, National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, Industrial Adviser, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise, Govt. of India, SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India), CSTUP (Council of Science & Technology, Govt. of U.P.), NRDC (National Research and Development Corporation), Syndicate Bank, Directorate of Industries, R&D experts & lead entrepreneur etc. The Chairman of the board is Dr. Ajay Sharma, Director General, Krishna Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad and Ex-officio member secretary, Sri Satendra Kumar, General Manager, TBI-KIET, Ghaziabad.

The “Art of State” and energy efficient fully dedicated building spread in 25,561 sq/ft. area. TBI-KIET can accommodate 35 incubatees at a time. KIET management has invested Rs. 1.75 crore only for the construction & furnishing of building. |

TBI is led by a team of dedicated and highly experienced, qualified people of college, industry and Entrepreneurship area. A core team of six members and seven faculties of college are pursuing the cause of promotion of Entrepreneurship effective and innovative ways.
The efforts of TBI has been appreciated by various organization. During a period of one year Ten incubatee have established their companies besides this 23 entrepreneurs have established their enterprise out of the KIET-Premises.
